How does indexing sofware work

Could anyone explain in detail how indexmenow and similar indexing tools work in detail? Not that they just send signals for discovery etc. I would like to know what are the signals, where and in general any more details how does google indexing work. Woud be highly appreciated, thanks!

I would prefer no AI answers as in the previous thread that is useless as the answers are copy paste.

Search youtube (filter by date, today, week, this month), people post latest working method, that's what indexing software automate.
 
From my experience these tools mainly help get a URL discovered and crawled. Beyond that the exact signals arent public so I wouldnt trust anyone claiming they know exactly what happens inside Google.

most indexing tools are mosttly there to assist with the discovery of URLs but not to force google into indexing the URL. such tools might use links, feeds, sitemaps or other already known URLs to make sure that google indexes the page quicklly.

i think that the primary function of these tools is that they help Google find URLs through various crawlable sources. however finding a URL does not mean that it will be indexed by google. Indexing is the decision of google as to whether and when the page will be inddexed.

there are many different type of software which may be used for finding contents by mean of link building or crawling however, there is no way for any indexing software to compel the indexed content.
 
it helps search engines discover and process web pages so they can appear in search results.
 
Some have special ways but usually it's about letting google discover the links.
I don't own a indexing tool but what i used to do was post all of my backlinks in a sitemap and then submit it to GSC. My website had a lot of traffic. So even if google won't parse the sitemap it will still help google take a look at those backlinks.
I also used my robots.txt to include that sitemap.

Google indexes in 3 steps: first Googlebot crawls the URL, then renders it (runs JS if needed), then indexes it (after a quality check, it gets stored). Discovery happens through links, sitemaps, or manual submission. The real Indexing API only works on your own verified property. Tools like IndexMeNow use off-Google tricks for third- party backlinks to get Google's attention, but there's no guarantee, that is why they offer refunds. Best practice: try the official API/sitemap first, then use something like IndexMeNow for whatever doesn't get indexed.
