Hi all,


Another question here. Looking at free dot com/free-samples it shows a heading that says "Ads related to free samples", then what looks like adsense ads below it.

If you click on any of the categories on the right side of the page, it will always go to ads relating to that category. Since I thought adsense ads were just loosely based upon the page content, how are they able to get ads relating to specific categories? (hence the "Ads related to free samples" title)?

Depends on how long he has been running adsense on his site. Adsense will slowly "learn" what your page is about and therefor display more related ads. Also depends on your traffic I guess, not sure about this though.

Adsuence ads has the ability to show ads related to contents which you searched for.
ex: if you were searching something related to PS3 games in google and later you log into a travel website which has adsuence ads.. It might show ads related to PS3 games.

adsense ads shows as per your website content, it is recommended to use adsense code near the high paying keywords (But then ad will not be related to blog).

What are all those jumbled-up words on the source code? Is that OK with Google/Adsense?

Look for keywords... Is he scamming Adsense or what? lol Or, just hover your mouse on any link on the page and watch the status bar... Hmmmmm....... they can't be adsense ads.

Adsense will require you to key in your targeted keyword. It will then learn your website content.

Is that what creates the "Ads related to ?" above the ads?


Also, where do you enter your keyword? When you're setting up an adsense campaign?
