What criteria does Google use to know that an image on my site is unique?

I've read somewhere (I don't remember where, though) that it checks stuff like resolutions, metadata, filenames, etc.

They use a fingerprint technique for this, it's all the color composition and other file attributes.

gg they have me IA to read the images, but if you can also add some details like naming the image after your website, add a small or appropriate logo in the image

It is not only metadata but google do have capability to read the image
