I always use 2FA instead of phone number. Set up all information at Just for Me status. FB just needs your 2FA and email to verify if it's you or someone who hacked your profile

You can view and adjust your privacy settings at any time.
Adjust privacy settings
Click your profile picture at the top right of Facebook.
Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
Click Privacy in the left column.
For other content you share on Facebook, you can choose your audience before sharing. Review Facebook's privacy policy and manage your privacy settings in the Privacy Center.
Review and manage your information on Facebook:
Update your Feed Options to see more of the content you care about.
Customize your Ad Preferences to see ads that are more relevant to you. Here, you can update your ad settings to control things like whether we show ads based on your use of apps and websites outside of Facebook. Learn more about the choices you have to manage the ads you see on Facebook.
You can also hide ads that aren't interesting or useful to you, or review why you're seeing a certain ad.
Go to Privacy Checkup to make sure you're sharing information with the people you want.
Go to Access your information to view and manage your information on Facebook or Download your information on Facebook to review.
