Hi guys,

I just wanted to create ONE account which can be completely separate and not linked to my personal account, where friends are. I used a new phone and signed up with that, but I once I create the account I still got those "people you may know" recommendations and they're friends from my personal account! So I must be showing up in their recommended friends, too. Why has this happened when the phone number is different? I haven't entered an email address.

I did link it to a new Instagram account I created, but also with the new phone. However, I signed into that IG account on my old, personal phone...is this why?? It was created with a different account, though!

Argh! I don't want people to discover this account. Thanks

That's why I don't Fick with Facebook! If I want friends I can find them on my own damnit. Yeah they probably tracking your IP address.

try to create new acc with new phone number and use proxy

Did you create it on your wi-fi?

Oh...yes..so is it likely that I'm also showing up in my personal account's friends' recommendations?

Do I need to create a new account (but is that number ok or I need another one?!) and use VPN to ensure that my accounts aren't linked? Do I create a new IG account as well, since it's linked to that FB account? Although that username will now be taken.

I also don't understand whether there's still linking of accounts if I sign into an account on my wifi. Not even create it, but just sign in. For instance, I sign into my clients' accounts sometimes but I didn't create them, and some of their friends are showing as recommended on this new account.

Thanks. Is VPN not enough or you recommend a proxy? So does this mean that I also create a new IG account, since it was linked to that FB account I created? Do I need a proxy for that as well? That username is now taken, argh.

Is there any risk of losing those accounts if I use a proxy?

And finally...I also don't understand whether there's still linking of accounts if I sign into an account on my wifi. Not even create it, but just sign in. For instance, I sign into my clients' accounts sometimes but I didn't create them, and some of their friends are showing as recommended on this new account. I will definitely need to log into this new IG account from my personal phone....so not sure if it can still be linked..? Or it's just how it's linked to FB.
