hello all, i was looking into at backlinks of some people that have high ranking websites and a lot of them are indexed on a website called example3 but this website just seems to be indexer that charges 5$ to post your link or something. My question is, how does this website actually rank and how does it have a 74 DR, on the way back machine it used to have 301 redirects to russian forums also. Does anyone have any idea on how this works and could explain more?

Looks just like a crappy way to milk income out of an expired domain. They've just bulked it out with low-effort scraped content and are selling links on it cheaply.

My question is, how does this website actually rank
It doesn't seem to have any meaningful organic traffic.

and how does it have a 74 DR,
I expect the domain has picked up it's metrics from being a domain that people would use in educational content when giving examples - like you would use test.com and similar.

Personally I'd have turned it into a more PBN-type asset. Unfortunately the domain is not particularly brandable.

The site most likely acquired 74 DR by using spammy back link strategies, private link network and expired domain redirect.

Would you say it would be worth attempting to buy a link on there? because a lot of websites that are ranking on yandex, like movie based websites all have this one backlink in common. And is there any similar websites you've stumbled across that's done something similar? Thanks for your reply :)

ah, understood. Thank you :)
