How does ebay work like the paying and stuff?

Hi all;



I never bought a product from ebay. What if I pay the person for the product then he doesn't send it me and I paid for the delivery too. Or does he get the money after I received the product.

PayPal basically works like an escrow agent. You pay them, but the money is on hold til eBay knows that you received your item. if you don't receive it, you issue a report through the resolution center, and more often than not, you will get a complete refund.

You pay through PayPal, and they will hold the funds until shipping is confirmed.

Use paypal with a credit card for your payment.Until you receive the item you purchased your payment will be held in paypal and after you receive it if its not exactly like advertised in the original listing you can report it at ebay resolution center and claim your money back , ebay and paypal always favor the buyers.
