So, i`m a total newbie in this forum, but i see some potential here..

How does dropshipping works?
I imagine: i create an ebay auction, someone buys my stuff, then with the money i got from buyer i order that stuff in some dropshipping site for that guy, and i make some cash,yes?

As i said, newbie here

I'm interested in DS, I'm assuming that with your able to generate a large amount of sales for a supplier, then you could get a better deal on wholesale prices.

Has anyone experienced this?

can someone please point me that so i don't have to buy the stuff first? i sale them first then i order them after? do the dropshipper ship to me or directly the the client??

As I underrstand from what I've read... a costumer buys from you, you send the info to the dropshipper and with the information where they supposedly send it from (your address), and the money of course, they(dropship) ship it to them(your costumer) with you information like if it were you that sent it
And you don't even have to see the product
And of course there are the shipping involved which you need to have a ecommerce script with a calculator or something

If I am wrong maybe I got it wrong from someone here in the forum.... some correct me

Yeah you all right.

Drop shipping is a method of selling that doesn't require the seller to hold stock.
Some people buy in bulk which requires them to hold the items themselves.

But with dropshipping you hold nothing, your dropshipper has all the stock.

And eBay is not your only option, you can set up an eCommerce site and go from there.

List item -> buyer sends you money -> you order from dropshipper with the buyer's details -> dropshipper ships item to your buyer

No, you do not need a merchant account, you could always use PayPal. But having your own merchant account would be better.

well you can try sites like alibaba.com and other chinese wholesale sites , you can get someone interested in dropshipping.
