How does blog writing relates to creative writing?

As to not waste your time, TLWR (Too Long Won't Read): How can I apply general blog writing advice to a creative writing site (one big amateur book series); and what's the best way to go about it for one not looking to get in the weeds any more than necessary (while still making money down the road.)

I think this is my first actual post on here.

I am PlatinumHands, I love anime, exercise, math, la... I have lots of passions, and art is one that has followed me since I was 4.

I have been lurking on and off, but recently decided it might be a good idea to start trying to do something again.

I have started creative writing (working on a book series) a few months ago, but I am really an amateur.
I want this to be a serious side-hustle, but editing costs are prohibitive, especially considering how that plus everything else will come together.

Over the course of a few months I've written over 200k words of the story (I am about 2/5 to the end of the story).
I already posted some of it on Royal Road, and it got a few reviews, all positive (got them off review trades, but overall really happy with the reception).

But I am paralyzed about what the next step is. I know I want to pivot my content to my own website, and try to monetize that, but I am lost as to how exactly to do that.

Is there any kind of step-by-step thing I can follow to get my "business" started off the right way? As much as I hate to admit it, I love the creative work, but be it cause of the failures with drop-shipping and other entrepreneurial endeavors, but the actual marketing side just seems daunting.

PS: Also how well do you suppose, general blog advice would apply to a site based around one big story.

Depending on niche/topic there will be 100% overlap to 0% overlap.
Example finance and health there will be 0 overlap.
Pseudoscience like astrology etc will have full overlap.
Most of niches will fall somewhere in between, some creative writing and some facts.

You are not alone feeling this way. I also often feel the marketing side of things is where I am weakest.

Life would be great if I could live it as a pure artist without worrying about money. *sighs*
