Although I have primarily concentrated on Google, I have heard that Bing still converts well in some categories. How does the return on investment (ROI) of Google Ads and Bing Ads compare for campaign managers?

Bing Ads still works in 2025, especially in finance, travel, and high-ticket niches. CPCs are cheaper than Google, so ROI often looks better even with less traffic.

Google Ads gives unmatched reach and targeting, but competition is heavy, which pushes CPCs up and squeezes margins.

Bing’s audience is older, desktop-heavy, and higher income, which can mean stronger buying intent compared to Google’s broader crowd.

Conversion rates on Bing can surprise you—less clicks, but they often turn into leads or sales more consistently.

For campaign managers, Bing Ads is like a hidden gem: not flashy, but it quietly delivers solid ROI if you test the right offers.

Google’s machine learning tools are more advanced, but you pay for that convenience in higher CPC and tougher competition.

The smart play in 2025 is running both, then scaling whichever platform gives the best blend of volume and ROI for your specific niche.

Google Ads is still the big player in 2025. You get way more reach, better targeting tools, and it’s easier to scale fast. The catch is competition -everyone’s there, so CPCs are high and profit margins get thin if your funnel isn’t sharp. Bing Ads doesn’t bring the same traffic, but the clicks are usually cheaper and the audience is older, more desktop-based, and has higher income. That mix often means better conversions in niches like finance, travel, or B2B. So while Google wins on volume, Bing often wins on cost efficiency, and the ROI depends on the niche you’re running.

Google Ads gives massive reach and advanced targeting, but CPCs are high and competition is tough. Bing Ads has smaller traffic, cheaper clicks, and an older, higher-income audience that often converts better in niches like finance or B2B. Running both and scaling whichever performs best usually gives the best ROI.

Bing have from my experience less audience and you will mostly get less clicks but somehow manage to convert better
