Hi all,

I know article posting is a prominent aspect of white-hat SEO, yet, I'm not sure how it specifically converts from the article to organic traffic.

My initial thoughts were that the articles posted would be search indexed and would therefore gain traffic from search engines via article-related queries. Am I right in thinking this?

Any thoughts/information would be appreciated, thanks.

You can login your account through the social media account and also shared on the social bookmarking site with your followers.

Hello! Yes, articles are indexed and if they have good content that answers to possible questions asked by the users, many people will visit your site, so, as a result, you will gain more and more traffic. You can also promote those articles on Reddit, in the relevant sub-Reddits, in FB groups, if there are any relevant and on forums.

Articles can get you traffic through search engines as well as through visitors of those directories themselves.

Let me explain in simple words. When you want to know something, you type the word in search engine like google. It gives results related to that word. First in the list will come only that articles or in other words websites which are well optimised for that search engine. It is also called search engine otimization. So to get more traffic through search engine, your article must be well optimised.

There are two effective ways to divert traffic from articles:

1. Make a niche facebook group and share your articles on him.
2. Submit article into Ezine directory and luckily get direct traffic on your website.

OP: did you mean article posting on your own site or on article directories?
