how does adsense get banned?

i got 2 copyright strikes on one channel and it didn't seem to affect adsense.
i just realized i got a copyright strike on the channel which adsense is directly linked to, but it wasn't one i had monetized.
if my adsense is banned it wasn't clear by me visiting the adsense website.
do i need to have an account linked to adsense banned or something for adsense to get banned, or is it arbitrary or something?

Adsense will ban you for the slightest infringement, they offer you the chance to appeal but to this day I have never known anyone appeal and get their account back.

didn't you read my post? that's just not true. either it must be a myth or i must've gotten really lucky.
i got 2 copyright strikes and adsense still functioned normally. i'm pretty sure after this recent strike i'm still good to go and that was on my adsense account too (but like i said it wasn't monetized - maybe that's part of it).
