How does a domain name gets premium?

I wanted to buy must.shop but it seems to be premium. How does a domain gets premium? How does the machine understands if its a famous word?

What do you see common in all these domains?

The answer is It is a single dictionary word. Sometimes the premium domain can also have 2-3 words on it. The pricing is determined on the popularity, search volume and the domain extension. Even the non-generic tld like rank.me is still a premium domain because the word in the domain and its extension brings a meaning to it.
 
And where can i find a list of all these famous words?
 
It's not by popularity, it's defined by the iana records registry. Each tld will have different ones because the ones that manage these premium words change depending on which tld it is
