how does a captcha service like Funcaptcha detect bots ?

Any has experience in captcha services ? i see that funcaptcha is checking bot activity and sending it to providers and thats the reason i get banned i think.

How can i avoid it what are those services looking for ?

- do they check the solve time ?
- do they see datacenter ips as bot activity ?
