Here is the situation - I have a legit 100% white hat YT channel with 8.2k subs and I don't want to lose it.

But I want to create another channel to test some gray stuff like buying views and comments.

The question is - how to create the new channel so that if it gets banned, the main legit one stays safe?

Is it enough to just create it with a separate gmail address? What if another gmail account is somewhat related to my main gmail account (shares the same phone nr.)? Am I at risk to get banned both gmail accounts from Youtube?

no bro i have many account with same phone numbers but my some channel are ban but also it did not affect my orginal channel

It is very recommended that you use a different browser (firefox portable) and different phone number, I use an app called nextplus to verify the channels for custom thumbnail feature. Are you also going to link them to your AdSense account?

Aight, thanks, will check out the service. No, I won't need AdSense. I will be monetizing with affiliate offers.

Thanks for the feedback.

Just a new channel under a different e-mail address. It won't hurt your other channels.

Good to know, thanks!

Affiliate offers... interesting! is that more profitable than AdSense? I assume it's like amazon affiliate links and so.

It all depends on many factors. It's just I do affiliate marketing for years so I know what is profitable and how to promote. So it CAN be profitable if done right. There are a lot of affiliate networks with all sorts of offers to choose from. But I guess Adsense on youtube is just an easier way. You don't have to bother with all the setup and conversions. You just boost your videos to get the views and get paid. That's it. With the affiliate marketing you need to convert viewers into buyers, you also have to pick the right topics for your videos, etc. so it's more challenging.

Hmmm interesting, as I have seen the easiest and most profitable is to monetize a channel then upload a ton of funny videos, or popular tv shows etc. (Totally black hat lol), and enjoy untill the channel gets terminated, that's what I see a lot of people doing and getting an unbeliably high revenue. But it is true that now adays it's very hard to get monetization (thanks Susan) so it's good to know the alternatives!
