Ok so I am looking to move for the first time since I quit my 9 to 5. Going to another apartment complex, and I want to know how are others verifying income to get an apartment or car etc. I have found some paystub services that will verify made up "income." This will probably do the job, but if every time I need to my income i've gotta pay $75 is there not an easier legit way? Sure I could show bank statements but again they are going to verify some i employer or need a W2, which I do not have since last yr i was a W2 employee. Soo any advice?

When I got an apartment, I explained that I was self employed. I did some screen-shots of my bank account showing wires coming from the CPA networks I partner with.

How long had you been self employed at that time? I've just been doing this about 6 months, but i've got 2 yrs on my job prior... just thinking what I HAD doesn't too much count right now.

I only had about 3-4 months at that time, but I mean, its not too hard to photoshop up more if need be
