I test by changing hooks and styles, then keep doing what gets the most engagement.
 
In order to test content, I try alternative headlines/hooks, monitor CTR, engagement, time on page, and conversions, and then scale what works best and improve or drop what doesn't.
 
I usually test content by trying small experiments and measuring real responses. Here’s the simple way I do it:
  • Post variations: Change one thing at a time (headline, hook, length, format) and compare performance.
  • Watch engagement: Track clicks, saves, comments, watch time, and shares—not just likes.
  • A/B test when possible: Especially for emails, ads, or landing pages.
  • Look for patterns: What topics, tones, or formats consistently perform better over time.
  • Use feedback: Comments, replies, and DMs often tell you more than analytics.
  • Double down on winners: Reuse what works and cut what doesn’t.

It usually helps to tweak one thing at a time like the hook or video length and then see what gets better watch time and engagement since that’s what the algorithm seems to push
