How do you use pbn links.

Know that there is no correct answer for greatest seo strategy.
And so everyone uses their own strategy and those are all different.
Someone says that using pbn link to tier 1 sites for safety, and we need to prefer that method cause it doesn't harm your effectiveness
and even gets better results sometimes.
Another guy says that using pbn link directly is better because it ruins the effectiveness of the PBN to be tiered. Almost like only 10~15% of its power will work.

Every seo work has different method and purpose. But i wanna know you guy's opinion about it.

I prefer to use PBN directly to my money site will get you more power after links placed ,one thing i check before adding PBN will be metrics and spam score and drip feed them, there won't any issues further. but make sure you keep updating them to maintain stable rankings and use different keywords ...

It is a very dependable question you got here. I own multiple PBNs. I can give you the range of my PBNs according to the benefit I get. All of them are somehow directed towards at least 1 money site. Making all of them Tier 1 backlinks. There are some PBNs that gives me direct traffic. I was managed to restore expired content and continue the original project and now it's brining me organic traffic for some websites. Along with that, the link juice passes as a bonus.

Also there are PBNs which had a lot of value when I purchased it, but now, things are nowhere to be found on google. But the values of the pages has not been withdrawn so I know for sure there will be a day that they will come back on track. until then, they are a backing up my money sites.
 
I would say you should check with quality of that PBN, as you said SEO doesn't have some guides for linking, it changes for every niche and keywords.

So you use pbn directly because it is your own pbn which is safe you don't need any buffer sites.

Exactly. It really depends on what kind of PBNs are we talking about.

Something like strong homepage PBNs would go direct as on tiers that would be money wasted. On the other hand, some cheaper permanent PBNs are fine to use for example to boost your guest posts on a tier 2 level.

Yet to find a niche where PBNs do not work.

Haven't seen one yet.

You are probably referring to competiitve niches where hundreds of units would be required.
 
I don't see why you shouldn't use them as tier 1 links. There is a thing called damping factor that in the original page rank formula is 0.85, so in theory, a tier 2 link at the end of the day will have power greatly reduced and will be only 15%. However, the formula was that in 1998, nobody knows how that changed.
 
I use PBN directly for my money site because my hunted domains are not cheap or dirt. All domains are manually scrapped and with zero spam and
high ahref score. All domains giving enough juice to my website and keywords dancing like Micheal Jackson :)
 
PBN as tier1 is good strategy else it have chances of affecting your main site.
