How do you use AdSense: Automatically, manually, via a plugin, or a combination?

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently looking to gather some insights about the different ways you might use Google AdSense on your websites.

  1. Automatic Placements: Do you allow AdSense to automatically determine the best placements for your ads? How has this worked out for you in terms of revenue and user experience? Any particular pros and cons you've noticed?
  2. Manual Placements: If you prefer placing the ads manually on your site, I'd love to hear about the strategy you use. How do you decide where to place the ads and what types of ads to use? What led you to choose this approach over automatic placements?
  3. Using a Plugin: If you use a plugin (like Ad Inserter, WP Quads, or something else) to manage your AdSense, I'm interested to know why you chose this method. What advantages does the plugin provide over other methods of managing AdSense?
  4. Combination: Lastly, do any of you use a combination of these methods? If so, I'd love to know more about how you blend these strategies and the benefits you've observed.
Any input is much appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to share your experiences and advice.

I keep most of my sites on Auto Ads as I do not have time to manage the ads for so many sites in my portfolio.

On few sites I have installed Advanced Ads by Thomas Maier. This is by far the best plugin in my opinion.

While using this plugin I notice which ad blocks are performing well. Usually header and below the title ads are well converting for me. You have to take some to identity which are the inse for you.

Chatgpt?
I was about to tell ya, but chatgpt text is a killjoy for me.

Yes, I used to use automatic placement and it worked pretty well, but I tried to change it on almost all my websites, but the revenue dropped by almost 50%.
So I'm going back to my last method and continuing the work.

hhh Yes, he explains it much better than I can.

I use Ad inserter to do automatic insertion of ads. I configure it for both mobile and desktop devices and it is the best thing to work with.

Yes auto ads is the way to go if you have multiple websites.

Automatic ad placement is used in Google Ads and it will reflect where your ads show automatically based on the targeting you want. It offers convenience by handling the ad placement process for you saving time and effort.

Fellowing , to mean auto ads seems to give lower cpc ? I don’t know if any of you have noticed this
