How do you use a proxy or a vps?

Well, I'm a noob, I know what a proxy is supposed to do but I don't know how you use it, I want to buy some to create new accounts on reddit, so when I buy it, what exactly do I get? and how much do they cost? if you get banned, you basically lose your proxy for that particular site?

Also, does a vps accomplish the same thing? how do you join one? how do they work?

Your real IP will be hidden when you're using proxy. If you're banned, you may or maynot be able to create another account unless your IP and in this case your proxy IP address is banned.

There is also VPN which is similar to proxy but with more IP ranges and Geo-Locations.

If you're on Firefox, go to options - general, then scroll to the bottom. You'll see ''settings'' under ''network proxy''.

Next step is ''manual proxy configuration'', check ''Use this proxy server for all protocols'', then enter the proxy number in the field. The last 4 number are the ''port'' and are to be entered in the port section. And there you go, you just configured the proxy. Different browsers have different steps, but they're all really similar and you should be able to find them in any browser without much effort.

Blackhatworld is a marketing forum. Also related to IM are proxies. Its a completely legit and related question for this forum.

Besides, you as proxy 'expert' should answer such questions instead of being just rude.
 
Two issues that you should consider:

1. These are two different things and before asking how to use them, try to understand what they are and how they do it.
2. Don't use a proxy or VPS for the sake of using it. In most cases you might not need one or the other, so do your homework before buying anyone of these.
 
Another noob question for you! Using a proxy for the device/desktop itself?

I'd like to get multiple purchased IG accounts up and running. After getting the first three up without issue, I'm running into authentication issues trying to use anymore. Either errors signing into the mobile app, browser app or a combination of the two.

As I know I'll be handling multiple accounts I've been advised to use the desktop app Flume. Perhaps a browser-based alternative might be better?

This leads me to question, can I buy a proxy and point my mac toward it at the network level, not just browser? And would the mac custom proxy still be applied to the browser?

I took advantage of the offer to lease the VPS with the provision of a proxy. Everything works fine: response time, uptime, availability in different regions. Recently, I checked the statistics on the use of equipment using a special tool https://www.host-tracker.com No problem.

`Thanks. I got my first proxy bought and setup. I do keeo getting hit with network sign in credentials each time I hit a new site though, is this normal?

I'm using the dekstop app still but it's being temperemental, do you have any browser based account managers worth using instead?
