This drives me crazy. It's a small dot but has big consequences. I have to keep my mail open with other tabs as I'm working. But anytime I get an email
that red dot appears at the top of the tab.
I simply can't ignore the red dot. I know mail providers know this. So every 30 mins (anytime I get email, spam or anything) I'm clicking back into my email which breaks my flow.
I don't wanna close yahoo out completely. The ideal situation would be to check email when I wake up, then before bed. Two times.
But it seems there's no way to turn off this red dot.
Does anyone deal with this when you're working? I know I can just close email completely, that's what I'll wind up doing. But I'm curious if there's a way to actually
shut off the red dot? THANKS!!
