How would you go about buying writing service, do you give kws to seller? Or you just give writer article instructions etc. and later edit article and put in your kws?
How do you trust KW to writers.

Usually writers dont have time to go after niches so if they know a bit of SEO I usually just give them the KW. I then improve it a bit though with new writers, I usually just tell them what they need to write about. Make a proper website and keep it updated to reach those #1 then you probably dont have to worry

Of course writer need to get the kws in order to optimize the articles around them! Believe me, they won't steal your kw for two reasons:
1. Getting a client is more profitable to them, and stealing that kw can affect their reputation
2. Ranking a website for a keyword is way harder than writing an article around it

Do the final optimization yourself. It only takes 2 minutes to do proper kw density on a good existing text.

As a writer, we don't really care about the keywords since we're overloaded with projects to finish.
It's true that some writers might use your keywords, but if you already have an established business even if they know your keyword, they'll use it the wrong way.
Make sure that the writers / business / website have some history before you submit any keyword to them and you'll be fine 100%.

I don't think KWs and niches are that valuable that service providers would bother imo, there are plenty of keywords out there, and it wouldn't be a writers area of expertise probably anyways

You cant think that way, most professional writers do their job good and get payed very well for it. They build content to help you rank.. nobody is going to steal something from you or be your competition.
Also you not need to give keywords to experienced writers (i dont) but you have to give them topic what to write..

As a heavy workload writer I have no time whatsoever to set up a keyword scam.

What about giving your keyword for a link building package, how do you trust them, what if they decide to go after your keyword?

if i had the drive and patience to build, manage and maintain my own website, i wouldn't be a writer, get what I mean?
And real talk, any writer worth his money can glean on your website whenever he wants to, you can't hide anything from him. Trust your writer, no reason not to.
