How Do You Think SEO Will Change?

Just a general question, but I can honestly remember 2010 like it was yesterday, and it's amazing to think how much has changed in just 5 years in the realm of SEO,
so how do you think SEO will change in 5 years, or even in general?

I think due to artificial intelligence, link-building will become more of a social-trend monitoring system, with links meaning something is temporarily trending, and google will analyze and rank based on content value and (if available) each users' personal tastes. Idk, maybe that's a bit futuristic.

I can already see a ton of people flaming me for "predicting" that content will be king and links won't be as useful, but I'm just interested in what everyone else thinks about how SEO might evolve in the coming years. Just a friendly discussion

Heavy importance on social shares. We'll just be chasing shares on high authority Facebook pages instead of links on high authority websites

Nothing changed in last 5 years, links still work. Thats why i dont think many things will change in next 5 years.

Its going to have to become more quality over quantity as Algorithms get more advanced, but will mostly be the same as it has been for years.

I agree with you, something like artificial intelligence will change the seo game far beyond what we can imagine, of course that won't happen in the next 5 years, but since Google has acquired companies like deepmind and they have people like Ray Kurzweil on board, I don't think that future is very far.

Im sure in the future it will be harder.

That just means get all the money while its easy so when it gets hard you have the money to invest.

SEO will be so advanced that you can see passport#, bank details, and all passwords just by searching for "name+space+all-details" in Google search... [Note: Now I think a big Asian country has it all... just search on Baidu!]

Re: Money-making: Google SEO can of course tell you all the working methods in a step-by-step manner if you search for, e.g., [e.g.: facebook|IG|Twitter|whatever]+[ which method works on it].

ForumName+space+realIdentity will show you the image / video of who is behind that forumName
