Does anyone know how I would accept payment from someone using paypal without having paypal take a percentage fee?

Could I send them an invoice and have them pay, and not pay a fee when the money comes into my account?

When a payment is made, PayPal gets a piece. That's the price of using them.
If it's cutting into your profit you have two choices if you continue with them.

1. Live with it.

2. Raise your price so you make your goal amount.

bigbuddy,

what do you mean personal payment to avoid fee? I'm trying to receive payment from others in my offline business ventures.

Ok, I pretty much have to just deal with it, since I just read if you accept personal payments for services, etc. paypal might ban you.

In order to accept personal payments, your account cannot be a business account. That means that you also cannot accept credit cards.

Masspay is something that the buyer has to have, I don't believe your get any benefit if your account is set up with it.

no matter which method, there is still some fee, even if it is mass pay.

if you are accepting pp for commerce, too bad, that's the fee you pay to use their very convenient service. if you are using it for payments that get to you very seldom, add a convenience fee or service fee to an invoice for handling and fees.

If the payment goes thru paypal, they get a cut.

sent as other, payment owned, and one more i forgot
but you can't request for refund it :D

I think you can sign up for paypal premier I got upgrade to it somehow cause I used to use paypal a lot. You still have fees but they are much less of a %.

When paypal started, I joined when they were still giving $5 to sign up, and $5 per ref feral that signed up. I invited all of my friends, that I had an e-mail to. only a couple signed up. I sent $1 to everyone ($6 for them $4 for me), and still no one signed up.

Your account needs to be a personal one to get the free transactions, and from what I read when i first signed up you need to transfer less than $400 per month. So you could make a bunch of fake accounts and do $3~~ a month on each. If your product is under $400 this could work, hope your profit margin is high, but since your hurting with a ~3% PP cut I'm guessing your not, you'll be making lots of accounts which is quite a pain, I'm not going to write about making fake accts, you can find it elsewhere on here. Making a bunch of accounts is probably very time consuming, as some of the actions can't be done with a bot. So you might as well pay the fee, or get a merchant account somewhere else, someone who used to work for a merchant acct company posted on here recently.

dun grumble if u need to use PP :)

just factor the fee into ur price :)

Send as a personal payment - but thats all about trust. Paypal fee's are horrible with large amounts, but thats just the way life is.

Hi,

I think personal payments on a regular basis will attract unwanted attention ... Though here personal payments are not allowed .. I have not done it before ... but heard derz no fees involved that way.

Hope it helps.

Best Regards

Use mass payment. Sender pays 1$ flat and receiver pays 0$
