OK so, I have been actively engaged in IM for about 5-6 years now.

Started off with selling services - SEO, video, web design - you name it. Had a very good success doing this but lost focus somewhere and everything went down the drain. Few months later, moved on to Clickbank and CPA but didn't have any great success here - just a few $$$ days.

Now, got inspired by the viral content sites and started one. Its been keeping me busy and I guess I am doing decently well and putting in a lot of effort but for some reason, I still don't make the same kind of money I used to make earlier. This makes me want to stop and switch to something else.

So my question to you all is - How do you keep yourself motivated and focused on your CURRENT project?
I seem to get easily carried away if I read a successful IM journey or method that worked for someone else.
Good thing is it motivates me like hell but it also makes me move away from the method I've been trying all along.

If I roll back 5 years down my memory lane, I now realize that I've just been running all around without making any significant improvement or $$$.

Lesson learnt:
What works for someone doesn't always work for you. Stay focused on what you are good at or believe is going to work for you.

Blackhat lounge : easy way to let your thread "ranked & indexed" on bhw homepage . no review copy !
wth is going on ? someone no more focused & someone depressed and the other one say im is lie and other say he is a liar ....

You didn't even make an attempt to reply to what I asked.
Just browsing the forum to criticize other people? Stop whining.

If you don't have an answer just move on to another thread, why post useless replies?

LOOL ! I'm using to drink : Redbull,burn,hell . i hope you appreciate my answer ! :shot:

My parents motivate me. This sounds sappy but whenever I say I can't do something or I want to quit, they always tell me not to quit, never give up, etc. It really helps to have a support system.

But if they're not around or I don't want to talk to them, I use Coke to keep me focused and wired. The drink, not the drug. Mountain Dew also works. I think it's the straight shot of caffeine and sugar. It's better than any energy drink. Although the crash is hell.

The big secret to staying focused is making micro brakes very often.

Two Motivations:

1. Kids that you have to feed :)
2. Not acceptance if you get less then you got last time)

It's okay if you get distracted. We all do. The best athletes and successful professionals do too, however, they're really good at returning to focus. In other words, if your thoughts wander or you get slightly off track, realize that it's normal, pick up the pieces, notice and name re-focus, and bounce back as quickly as possible better than ever.

Pick one path to follow and follow only that one path. You can't focus on hundred different paths (like dominating cpa methods, programming bots, amazon affiliate etc).

I wake up, I do a shit, i drink a coffee, and I just keep working on opportunities, and ticking off those tasks. Plus read bhw of course :)

I'm in the same boat, doing the same thing actually. I eventually want to figure out a way to delegate the work out so i can try some new stuff. Keep building new revenue streams and have other people manage the old ones. It takes a certain knack for viral content though, so its kind of a pain in the ass to just hand over the keys to someone else. I guess it's not so much that i can't focus, it's just there aren't enough hours in the day to go down all the paths myself, so i'm just going to try to divide and conquer.

Sorry if that doesn't answer your question at all lol, guess it's more me thinking out loud.

Coffee in the morning,
Also i've heard you should write down the tasks you want to complete at the start of the day and choose one that's possible and allocate yourself a set time to complete this task.

Beer and coffee will do the trick for me.
