How do you stay consistent when learning scripting?

One thing I’ve noticed is that starting scripting is exciting, but staying consistent can be a bit challenging.
For those who’ve gone through the process:
How did you stay consistent?
Did you follow a daily routine or just learn when you had time?
Trying to build a habit that actually sticks.

Consistency comes from routine, not motivation.

Do a small amount daily (even 20–30 min)
Build real things, not just tutorials
Same time every day
Don’t break the streak

Well said. Consistency beats motivation because motivation comes and goes. Even small daily progress adds up over time. Showing up every day is what really makes the difference.

Consistency really is about what you repeat, not how motivated you feel that day.
Even 20 to 30 minutes daily makes a real difference when you stay committed.
I’ve noticed progress comes faster when you build small things consistently instead of jumping between tutorials.
Same time, same routine, no overthinking just showing up.
The real win is not intensity, it’s discipline and not breaking your flow.
