how do you spot a AI shorts?

is it just me or almost 30% of yt shorts right now is AI skits?
sometimes its even hard to distinguish if its real or AI or it just me?

It’s not just you. A lot of shorts are AI generated now.

Common signs are weird animations, robotic voices, unnatural pacing, and captions that don’t match perfectly. They look like a bot trying to floss and you’re just sitting there like bruh… what even is this.

The most common sign is that they suck.

Look for that weird, too-smooth movement and unnatural lip sync. The voice also sounds flat and emotionless.

AI shorts often have unnatural voiceovers, repetitive phrasing, or visuals that feel too perfect or mismatched.

Robot voice, weird hands, and more. Although there is ai software that makes the edits now but use real clips so at this point were cooked.

well, working with AI on a daily now (OFM and similar) it gets easier for me to spot them as i work with them.

BUT i also think it have something to do with your algorythm. My personal youtube acc i kept clicking "dont show me this" on things that were generally AI Slop and it stopped appearing.

I am not a hater on AI at all if its used for visuals and actually done well i have no issues with it, its more the people that just do a half assed prompt and put some AI voice over as "content" i wont engage with.

I do think story channels and similar will benefit a lot from the AI generative models out there though (i myself watch a couple)
