ok.... now you have your dropshipper lined up...

What plugin, software, script do you run on your website?

Just a simple ecommerce tool such as Zen cart?

I just dont get how the dropshippers get notified of an order through your cart set up?

I will keep reading and doing some research..

I just dont understand how to set up a complicated online store..

sorry....lol

Question doesn't make much sense. Please reword it?

To make his question clear:

How do you set up a dropshipping store?

Do you just install an ecommerce system, enter the product and you're done?

How do you notify the dropshippers?

Am I right?

yes, correct...thanks. Bad day for me..lol

you create a store (yes you code it, buy host, buy domain, SEO all by yourself) or you use a all-in-one pack. As simple as this.

well there is some script, I dont know them i make my own store

This is someting I've also been interested in. Anyone know what the script pack is called?

ZenCart and OSCommerce are free and are included in most CPanel installations.

By scripts, are you talking about e-commerce systems?

Then zencart, opencart, Prestashop, magento.

Then you can install wordpress and an e-commerce plugin.

Hmm... ok, I've never looked into dropshipping, so please bear with my idiotic newbie questions:

If someone orders something from me, do I manually order it from the dropshipper, or do I order it first and then sell it on?

Or is there a automatic way of setting it up that someone orders something from me, the order gets sent to dropshipper with payment and the stuff gets sent to buyer?

are you sure to know what is dropshipping ? Lol

Yes I think so. It's where you have a virtual store (website) offering stuff for sale, which you don't really have in stock, and then you pass the order on to a wholesaler/supplier. Correct?

Every drop shipper is different. Some require the orders to be emailed, faxed, posted to online form with XML, submitted in MS xls file, etc.

Depending on you cart software this can be automated.

the easy answer is that when you recieve an order, you place an order with your dropshipper. when you get the shit profitable enough you hire a coder to make a function in your choosen shop to do this automatically for you. then you can go back to playing playstation.

peace out.

the best carts : zencart, Prestashop, magento

those carts are good, the thing is must your dropshipper offering xml or some feeds of products,

then after you got orders you send xml feeds to the dropshipper..

I have never try it, so I am not sure how exactly but its like that... depending on cart and dropshipper.

you may pay dropshipper for total orders manually, some dropshipper needs contract to be filled before they allowing you to use the service.

I think http://opensolution.org/ is the easiest free cart to build.

Once I got order, I login to my dropshipper's website,
and order the item my customer wants, with my customer
address as the shipping address.

That's what I do with my dropshipper.

you'll be spending a lot of time configuring them, I had a chance to use OSc on two of my shops, it's not for noobs. For beginners, if you are looking for a safe start, without worrying about security and configuration errors, i'd recommend shopify.com (small monthly fee).

Hi bashnya, can you tell me what OSc is ?
Believe me, I'm not a noob.

And I have visited shopify, it's interesting.
Anyway, does it has custom domain service?

Thank you.
