How do you separate words in URL?

Like the "best practice" you should separate your words with "-"

Use hyphen. And never put more than 2 words into URL if you do not have to. Google doesn't like that much.
 
you can use hyphen "-", some webmaster use underscore "_". but I prefer hyphen in my url
 
using hypen is a better option.but don't stuff too many words with in the hypen

Remove any stop words and make the URL as concise as possible, change wording from title

But if you can, don't use anything except words. It makes it easier for people to remember.
 
The difference in interpretation by search engines will not be huge, but it's still worth sticking to the more readable hyphenated version. Also you don't risk the search engines misreading some urls due to new unwanted words forming from other words in a "no separation" scenario.
