How do you select products for your "Best" type articles? (Amazon Affiliates)

I (obviously) know the niche quite well but when trying to write "best" type articles targeting targeting very low competition buyer intent keywords like "best [my niche] for [whatever]" I tend to get confused with choosing the right products for the article because their are so many products to consider.

Can anyone help me with a good strategy to select the best products for these type of "best" (money) articles?

How do you guys (Amazon Affiliates) select products for your articles? I need help.

I'm afraid you have to know the niche to be able to select the best products. You have to know is it a really good price or a fake and you need to have a good targeted audience.

The only thing I could suggest is to stay away from non branded products (cheap chinese crap) and try with the most popular brands and their deals on Amazon.

Just promote the most bought items on amazon. This will inspire trust to buyers, and if they choose another product you’ll still get the commission regardless.
