How do you run shopify "General store" with FB ADS?

I am a bit confused about single niche shopify store vs general shopify store, I am planning to start shopify dropshipping mainly using General store to see what makes more sales then I will jump to single niche store.

My question is how do you promote "General shopify store" with fb ads?
