how do i remove the comment section on my site?

Go to the page you want to remove comments from, go to the discussions section of that page, and then untick the box that says "Allow comments"

If you use a page builder, you will need to remove that section. If you use default, just turn off the comment option inside Settings >> Discussion.

Your theme might have an option to remove Comment section. Another option is to use a Plugin to do it so.

In dashboard there is option to disable comments under discussion section, also there is always a plugin to do this if you are new,
