How do you redirect using 301?

Suppose I have a domain that has backlinks to some of its pages from big websites. If I wanted to send the link juice to another website using 301, what's the best way?

Like I want to send the link juice of website2.com to website1.com and also from the website2.com/page1 to website1.com.

It's best to redirect similar pages to each other. Not just point everything at homepage. It will be perceived as soft 404s.

Actually, there is one page that has got good links from other websites and all the other pages aren't impressive. I was wondering if I could just redirect that page to my homepage along with the primary domain.

Also, as I don't have a relevant page to that one so, let me know if it will be a good idea or not.

Re-create that page which got links and redirect to a somewhat similar page of your new website.

And redirect the root domain to the new homepage.

Yes, if it's so very few pages it should be OK.

However, I would still create a new variant of the redirected page and redirect to it instead.

To redirect using a 301 status code, use server-side methods like .htaccess or server configuration to specify the new destination URL.

Yes I too would suggest the same @tiiberius has given. if you want to share the good reputation of website2 with website1, use 301 redirects for each specific page or content you want to transfer, but make sure they match closely in topic or content on website1.
