Dude. I really rarely post on this, but why would you pay something that is free? Those guys don't invent shit. It's rehash of free stuff here. Not to mention what can you do with your own twists. You can become guru yourself.

I think it depends on the situation.
Here’s the way I look at it.
If you were rich, would you sell the secrets of how you became rich? No, you would keep the information for yourself because it is far more valuable then the quick dollar you’ll make off of people.
If you are looking for advice here’s the best advice that I can give.

They are all a scam because the moment they start selling, even if it is a unique method, the saturation phase begins. So, even if the moment he published the course the method was working, after 6-12 months, it will be so competitive it won't be worth getting into. I prefer getting courses for free and study them just only to see what others usually do.

Bad advice, but you prob have to forget about the gurus and stick to BHW because anyone good is expensive. Courses are something you buy when you're busy and your time is too valuable to sift through foreigners posting broken English on forums. If you can afford a good course, it can pay off huge.
But sure, there's 1000s of people out there who sell junk courses, they come and go. That's like any product. You always have to do research as a buyers. Just because someone is trying to sell you a car, doesn't mean it's not a piece of junk. Same with courses.
OP, don't take his advice, he sells web 2.0s for a living. Just do your research. Search their name on YouTube, join their groups and get involved. Don't spend money until you've been following their free content for a while and it's solidified into something positive for you.
And honestly, come attend a conference. Don't sit behind your computer screen and scream "no gurus" - who do you think speaks at ASW, Ungagged, AW, etc? Gurus, with massive success.
ASW is in 2 weeks and lots of OG, successful BMW members will be there, many who have "graduated" from the forum and mostly stick to offline interactions, but I recommend you attend.

Basically just pointing out the fact people claim to be all about IM but basically just sell stuff in the BST section. Based on your response siding with him, I assume you make your money from BSTs, so I get it.
