How do you rank your one page site?

Hello,

I have started working on a small niche where keyword volume is 450000 Monthly.

As per KWfinder is the easy keyword, I have domain ranking on that keyword.
there are a forum, Blogspot, youtube video and off-topic article is ranking on the keyword.

what should be the strategy to ranking this kind of site, your suggestions are most welcome.

Be consistent and smart in applying your keyword density. Also, make sure that you do not crowd keywords in your articles. That's what I am going to suggest when it comes to the blogging aspect.

Hmm, I personally do not think a 1-pager will be effective at all for the present SEO landscape, as everything now seems more complicated as googl is looking to rank specific content based on specific criteria - you don't see much of a 1-pager on most of the sites listed anymore.
But 1-pagers isn't too far fetched, if you can boost your site's authority, by having high authority sites linking back to the 1-pager, that could and should work accordingly.

it will be hard to rank one page website, it would be great if you add a few posts
on the whole, the strategy should include link building from good websites

Thanks for all the reply...

surprisingly my new site hit the first page.
Main Keyword on the 4th position and sub keyword on 7th position...

Here is what I have done.

1) 450-word Article
2) Profile Links and basic comment links
3) Images

I believe it is on honeymoon period?
Now, what should I do to further improve ranking and maintain the position...

Thanks for the valuable feedback. I will add a post on sub-keywords, which will complement main keywords.

Update on one-page Niche

Well, it is easy niche and My Main Keyword and sub keyword is in Top 10...

Most of the traffic is taken by Youtube (on the 3rd spot) and two other sites...
Will add sub-post and content to improve ranking...

Add rating markup so there is stars on your page so it's standup on serp and increases click rate

Since it is a one-page website, your content needs to be extraordinary, with a lot of images for the audience to be hooked on to it. However, make sure there is enough content, and the readability is not compromised. Also, keep the content updated and fresh, as that is what Google loves.

Use Anchor Links- Anchor links will help the visitor navigate to a particular portion of the web page. These will create search engine friendly URL on your web page. You can also create anchor text backlinks on the site.

1. Is your domain new?
2. How long did you take to add backlinks to content
3. How Many Backlinks?
4. DA of backlinks are 50+ ? (Authority websites) i suppose

I don't understand why people are creating one pager and using one pager website to rank for high-density keywords, makes no sense. If you want to rank for a high volume keyword then my suggestion is to make a proper website with many pages.

2. How long did you take to add backlinks to content = from 3rd day i guess
3. How Many Backlinks? = Build around 20 to 25, (6 are indexed)
4. DA of backlinks are 50+ ? (Authority websites) i suppose = yes
