How do you rank videos and get more views?

I understand things like keywords, descriptions, tags, thumbnails etc etc should ideally be used but what other marketing sources are there?

Iv come across the most simplest of videos which looks like no SEO has been done, yet they have over 100k views in less than a week with say 30k subscribers?

Iv personally gone the whole influencer marketing on social media route, posts on forums, facebook groups etc etc...that shit doesnt work, iv done multiple A/B testing.


Has anyone tried FB ads? Any other suggestions?

When i ask fellow 'popular' youtubers...all they say is "keep uploading" wtf?
