For blogs, you obviously don't have only 3 or 4 keywords that you want to rank for.

So my question is, what can you do to increase rankings across your blog posts? (With on page SEO already done)

Most blogs rank by getting natural backlinks through the epic and viral content they produce and publish, content marketing for short. Their individual posts rank well due to the natural backlinks they received and their root domain authority.

By Creating backlinks for individual blog post links{Inner pages}. I run Tech blogs... Web 2.0 and social bookmarks are working well for low to medium competition keywords.

Explore your competitors backlinks in majesticseo or ahrefs. If he uses guest books, blog comments, profile backlinks etc. try to replicate him. Learning by doing.

You rank them the same way as you would rank any keyword.

I'm running tech too, interesting, that's kind of what I thought. Thanks!

There is nothing special or different from ranking a blog post and keywords from any other site.

Right I'm kind of saying, is there any way to improve the authority/ranking of all posts at once?

Focus on making a killer internal link structure. This alone will make your job 60% easier.

I assume you're talking about various posts referring to each other with anchor keywords you want to rank for. So I write about "doors with handles" I mention my post and link to it in multiple OTHER ranking posts about OTHER subjects, as well as put it on my blogroll and sidebar. Correct? I already do this constantly, and it seems to help me rank well.

The basics of improving any sites search engine ranking is by building links from trusted sites that carry at least some authority. Unless you really know what you're doing and have the tools to do it I would avoid mass link building. If you do it wrong your site will get smacked about by Google.

As for improving the ranking of all posts at once, without mass link building, then it's not possible to do it in a way that would look natural. For each page that you want to improve the ranking of you need to build a link to it. If you want to improve the ranking of all 50 pages of your site then you'd need to build 50 links (1 to each) at the same time.

Now while those 50 links will help to improve the authority of your site overall (because it will have 50 links pointing to it) each individual page would still only have 1 link pointing to it which wouldn't have much effect in improving that pages ranking.

If you do decide to mass build links using an automated process then I would recommend building them from a wide variety of sources so it doesn't look too unnatural.

The more pages your site has then you'll need to build links from a wider range of sources.

Guest write on other blogs and include a link to your blog in the bio. In the course of getting to know blogs that already rank well on the keyword phrases you're targeting, you may notice that they often accept guest blog posts from others. Contact the blog owner and suggest a compelling post that would be first and foremost, valuable to their readers. If it makes sense editorially to link from WITHIN the guest post to your own blog, be sure to use relevant keywords as the link text.........:)
