Hi, I am a mom. One thing that has bothered me for the longest time is for every one useful email in my email, there are 20 spam emails.
On my phone, many of my callers are spammers and one company I caught just before they tricked me into a student loan service that the government does for free. Not before I gave them my bank account info.
I had to cancel my debit card. Other callers call want to sell me warranties on my car, or to tell me my accounts have a problem and I must give them all my info for them to fix it. They will try very hard to sound like legitimate sources. I believe the word for this is phishing. How are you protecting your mom and grandmother from such attacks? Are robo spammer apps for phones a good solution?
