How do you pronounce "niche" (just for fun)

Throughout my short time in the IM world I've come across many different vids and tutorials and always found it interesting how lots of people pronounced it differently.

So how do YOU personally pronounce 'niche'? As for me, I pronounce it nee-sh (rhymes with leash)

Im the same - neesh. I hate the people that call it nitch - so cringy
 
according to merriam-webster.com, you're both right! "nich" and "nish" are both correct pronounciations.
 
I am American and I say "neesh". It's really irritating when people say "nitch". Sounds about as stupid as pronouncing nuclear "nuke-yah-ler", IMO.
 
I said "niche"... ;-) like the dog's house...

"Sultan...Sultan, come here...Good boy....good doggy...go to your niche now, Sultan...Go to your niche..."

I used to say knee-shay when I started. Now I just rhyme it with bitch.
 
I'm neither American nor European and I pronounce it "neesh". I pronounce it that way from the beginning, just looking at the word (without hearing it from someone else first).
 
Nee (as in a-NI-mate, fu-NNY) -- sh (as in wi-SH, fi-SH)
Also, as in pu-NISH, ba-NISH, ...

and fi-NISH :)


But wait...

these 2 stupid people sound different!
