HAHAH Classic!Missed opportunity for meowsqueal..
I say My Ace Queue Ale. However, I know many say sequel. The thing is, it is an acronym. It does not matter how you pronounce it.It's My S.Q.L. Short for Structured Query Language right?
Was speaking to a developer yesterday who I thought was really pro until they pronounced it sequel. Or is Sequel another database?
I've started to just says the database so I don't pronounce it wrong.
Do you call it S.Q.L or sequel, or something different?
Based on the MySQL documentation, the official way to pronounce “MySQL” is “My Ess Que Ell” (not “my sequel”), but we do not mind if you pronounce it as “my sequel” or in some other localized way.

I pronounce it "My Sz Key El"![]()

Me too pana hahahaI am from Venezuela and I´ve always pronounced it "My Es Kiu El"
