How do you promote CJ?

I've just been approved from CJ.
At the moment I'm not sure to have one product per website or run a review site promoting similar products.
What has worked for you guys?

You're asking an extremely general question which won't benefit anyone, even yourself. The best way to learn how to push products is to stick around the forums, study your competitors, and to remember everything that works.

Asking "What has worked for you guys?" is like asking "how can I make money online?" Not a very good approach!

Brent360 is right, here's a nice way I like to get ideas, first go on CJ and find a product you would be comfortable promoting, then look around the internet and find places where that would be advertised. Do a search for the product, and for websites that might advertise. Learn about the niche and study what other people are doing. Check social media sites, and other sites, and the ideas will come to you. Experiment with a lot of stuff and really dive into it, and keep checking back at BHW, keep reading and experimenting and you'll be fine. Best of luck!

Datafeeds are fun when you mix them with scraped/spun content then drip unique content through wordpress.

I really hate all that code you have to paste in sites and ALSO seeing the message THis company approves manually
I never made nuthin realy I thin they a bit dodgy and when someone sees phone number they call and you never get the commission

You can promote the banners or text links on any of your web pages. You don't have to have a dedicated website to a single product, but you can if you choose. Find some good key words to stuff. CJ has keyword targeting software as well. I look for the highest payouts per lead and try and think of things that sell a lot online.

Build a good landing page + PPC technique!

Choose your offer related your niche, Create landing page and start promote that.

For most of the CJ offers that I promote, I just use SEO. They are very picky when it comes to traffic sources and referrers.

You sound eager to earn online, but unless your site gets high readership (say, thousands of readers everyday), you may not make any kind of sale, much less a living.

The thing is, you need to know how to market online to have any kind of success.

I am not sure how much you know about marketing online. You can sell online, but how much you make depends on how well you can market.

If your knowledge is limited, you'd better equip yourself with it first. Learn how to market online first. Here are some tips for you:

1) Blogging

Create a blog that targeted to your niche with certain contents from time to time, build up your reader and start to write review with regards to the product that you going to promote. At the end of the article, put down your CJ affiliate link or banner to attract your visitor to click and buy from you, that's where you get your commission.

2) Writing Review about the product

Create an article and promoting your opinion with regards to the product that you want to promote with your affiliate link and post it to different articles site. As the same time, please convert it to MP3 format and post it to prod-casting site to increase your conversion rate. Usually, this is very useful for Web 2.0 technology.

3) PPC (Pay Per Click)

Fast but not easy way to pull traffic to get your sale done. This can be done by sign up to Adwords and get yourself rolling. Remember to have certain level of understanding what is PPC before your decide to go for this route. If you not done properly, then you will lost a lot of money with getting any sales.

4) Email Marketing

The most common way to promote your business using getresponse and aweber. This model is only applicable to those who has a number of subscriber that subscribe your email address and your are required to promote the product using email. Inside the email somewhere, remember to list down your affiliate link to your reader. Usually, the email contents can be your feeling about the product, simple report or simple tutorials on this products.

5) Websites

This is something that similar to blogging, write a good landing page and promote the page via forum and PPC to get the traffic to your website. Once you seen the traffic, then you can expected to have some sales from your website too.

when you say that do you mean that if i drive traffic from a whole bunch of sites but the link is from 1 site. they will ignore my other traffic?

I promote my CJ products through adwords. Google doesn't like a lot of affiliate marketing, so I do 3 non-affiliate marketing campaigns for every one.

Getting an account is the easy part
I am also having serious problems with this affiliate selling.
Getting quality traffic or knowing how to persuade the visitors
why would anyone trust a random site enough to go buy some product on a random site?
A lot of instruction videos make it look easy.

Its better that you first decide the products niche or niches you want to promote. After that you can start with building a few landing pages for those products and use traffic generating tools to get buyers.
