Twitter's fight on Bots has begun some time ago and now they have gone after Phone verification services. How do you Phone verify your accounts nowadays? With your own number or do you buy virtual numbers?

If you intend to keep your twitter account get cheap sim, pay as you go etc.

If disposable account google textverified

Im interested in this too, what if you want many accounts on many different SM platforms? Do they use a service then remove the number? I dont think they let you remove the number anymore

No, they don't let you remove the number, but on Twitter you can always contact support (if not completely banned) and ask, politely, to have your account restored.

So the only way to do it is have verify the number with a service, then when they hit you with another phone check you have to abandon the account since the pv numbers are temporary?

You have to buy real Sim card numbers to be safe.

SIM card is always the best option.... The alternative which works as well is to use a temporary number and after verification you remove it from the account. If hit again with verification, re-do it, rinse and repeat! If you are getting too many verification there is something wrong. you are either pushing the limits too much, posting content that is not ideal or there is an issue with your proxies / fingerprint.

If you can swing it Google Voice numbers work just fine. You just need a bunch of them. TxtNow and Ring.To numbers don't work.

I've noticed only certain google voice numbers work and only for twitter, I think its random but I dont know...do you know of any other virtual numbers like GV that work?

The area codes I've always used are directly from major cities that are old school prefixes (like NYC I use 646, 347, 212, LA I use 213, 323, 310). Try not to use 2nd and 3rd tier city codes or suburban codes or new codes they made up in the last 10 years. Also, it helps if google voice # is attached to a cell phone, even a burner in the same area code OR is a google voice # older than 3-5 yrs.

Make sure you're on the same IP and browser at least for 30 days when you log in and certify. Do not flip and use proxies. Do not use different broswers and keep it to one browser per Twitter account.

Hope that helped.

Google voice number is a good alternative and still works. If a certain area code isn't working, try others.

Simplest way? Get another SIM specifically for verifications and you're good. If you need a number from a different country than the one you're on, then you'll want to check for virtual providers. They should still be working but it's best to double check first before committing to it. You'll never know with Twitter, these days.
