Hey guys,

As the title stated, How do you perform research for your articles?

Obviously writing article may sounds to be tough but they are practically easy if one have good analysing and understanding capacity. before writing on any services/ product or any just analyse their pros and cons. engage yourself in real time study. research on what the online users are in need of. refer the updates that are done recently on the topic. along with all these combine your creativity to represent the article. it may take some time but you can come up with best ideas.

I look on forums and similar websites for ideas and then I test those ideas out. For example, if I owner a website about cars and I was writing an article about if tyre pressure affects mileage, I would find other sites that make both claims (that and does or does not affect mileage) and then conduct my own research.

As time consuming as that might sound (and for the tyre pressure example, it would be), it's actually not that bad.

I just find reliable sources. You can use the internet, a library, conduct interviews, watch documentaries, or whatever you feel is appropriate to teach you everything you need to know about your topic. Be an expert!

You can do research online very easily. However, you should be wary. Draw only from reliable sources like reputable newspapers, experts on the topic, government websites, or university websites. Look for information that lists other sources, since this will help back up any claims made by your source. These materials can also be acquired in print and the same precautions should be taken there.

Agreed! Find reliable sources, absorb their info, then add your own unique touch in your article. You could combine info from different sources to create a more conclusive article. You could simplify content so it is easier for a normal person to understand. You can add some personality to the writing. You can add multimedia (infographics, relevant videos, etc) to improve the article.

As a professional person, I prefer to hire a freelancer who is apt in Internet Research and Writing.

I tend to do it manually using search engine than using tool such as Instant Article Wizard for instance. It's a bit laborious but somehow I always get what I'm looking for doing it this way. For search engine I tend to use Bing more than Google. For some reasons I can find much better quality content when searching using Bing, at least for my niches. Perhaps it's because so many people scam the hell of Google.

I have a way of getting them free. I get about 20k words a day. Will be making a post on how to do so in the near future!

I use wikipedia full of information on almost on any topic, but other than that i read authority blogs or blogs that are on top of their game, and you can also use other resources like youtube, news site and so on depending on your niche.

Writing your own articles may be tough. I usually use wikipedia to support my articles. Engage yourself in real time study. research on what the online users are in need of. :)

Wikipedia is a best place to start your research. spend some time searching for keywords related to your topic, browsing the link you find on each page, and following their suggested resources.

Frankly speaking, I read up competitors' articles to get an understanding - done during free time of coffee break. Once I spotted Alien LSI & Secondary kws or longtails, note them down and wait for good opportunity to use.

A quality one has to meet on-page seo without 'stuffing', find out more using the 'Search' button in bhw.

Just soak up information regarding the topic from different sources.

All you need to do is gather info and then apply it to your own personal article, sometimes it can take a little longer than usual though.

Sometimes I find myself researching for at least a few hours before I write anything, which isn't always a necessity.

1. look on forums for keyword ideas and articles (categories, threads)
2. try to search with buzzsumo or topsy, to get some nice viral ideas
3. Use semrush to understand what competitors write about
4. use long tail keyword tools (ubersuggest, scrapebox, keywordtoolio). It's a goldmine for nice long tial keywords

Well, I'm glad to share what I do when writing article. First of all, I will pick a topic that interests me and i will focus on it until get familiar with the topic. Then I will write a rough draft about what I'm thinking. It will helps to get an idea how to get started.

And I will include the following in my article,

- Statistics
- Quotes by well-known people
- Definitions
- Quotes and examples from people like the reader or from popular books on the subject
- References to other media (film, television, radio)
- Helpful tools, resources or products (if many, consider creating a sidebar)
- References to local venues or events

Now, I will have to go back to my rough draft and connect these information's. If I'm not satisfied with the article I made, I will hire a proofreader to make the quality article. Then, outcome could be well structured quality article.

Hope it could help out few guys who looking to make the article by their own !

Research gives the best writers a quality isolating them from the others. Poor authors charging just a tiny bit for each article, as a rule invest next to no energy or exertion investigating. In the event that you need to deliver top notch content for clients, your site/blog or for some other reason, it begins with exploration.

I browse the internet, read press releases, forums, local papers, magazines and even ask around, especially those authorities in certain niches.

I just google it and get related info from the internet for my articles.

Read, research, and understand what you are writing about. Form opinions and ideas. It's much easier to write about something when you have enough knowledge to talk about any aspect of it.

I look up several sites online to get my information from. If an online source looks sketchy then I do not use it.
