How do you optimize your Windows XP OS ?

I have used a lot of software trying to optimize my XP OS but none really have worked so far. Please share your experience if you have found some software or some way to optimize successfully your Windows XP OS.

i also used to tweak my XP, just search on tech forums for tweaks and use them wisely especially when you edit the registry, i think these tweaks works better than any program out there, imho tunexp is the best out of these kind of programs

and here's a pretty neat RAM tweak:

and you also should use some kind of defragmentation tool, like disktrix
it works like magic and you'll be surprised how fast can be your machine, if your HDD is not fragmented

I've always wanted to get xp to boot from a ramdisk. it'd be so..fast.
