For the ones who just work at home all day - how do you guys meet people? ie. Clubbing? :P

I lose more and more real life friends everyday.
That's changing this summer.

Parking lot pimping.

I kid, I kid. Although the last town I lived in, the hot thing to do was to sit in your car and wait for others to show up in the Dairy Queen parking lot. The joys of small country towns. /sarcasm

I go to local bars and get to know people there. In my area there are quite a number of interesting people around to meet.

I've met quite a lot of women at local restaurants and cafes. :)

stop wondering how do I meet people. Just go outside and do something - find events, go to them. Listen to the radio for events they are promoting, you can meet a lot of cool people there.

Joining a forum dedicated to something you like in your city is a good way.

I joined a city specific PUA forum and have made friends with the dudes there over a common interest.

Whole Foods/Trader Joe's during mid-morning. I don't want some drunk ass club head, or fast food eating tank-ankle. That's just for women though. I guess it could also depend on your age. I'm sure the youngins are lookin for the one night thing and going out drinking helps that happen. Just not for me.

As far as just my every day friends. The guy friends I have. They've been the same for a couple decades since we were kids. Doubt that'll ever change.

I don't meet anyone, my only friend is my computer. There are many things to do and learn thru my computer, I don't have time for any other things.

And I am very happy this way. I know that there are many people that get bugged for this, lacking of friends and stuff, but for me, all is fine.

I go to coffee shops, there are many nice chicks every time.

I work on weekdays and weekends i keep especially only for meeting friends and partying. With out meeting friends if we keep on working we may became mad.We are grown up so should know to balance both things.

Go to the pub.
It's harder to meet your friends when you have a 9-6 job and after it are driving around 1 hr to get to your home.

IMHO your life is poor but if you like it then ok.

When I moved to a new city I joined an MMA gym. A sport is an excellent way to meet people (although I understand sport isn't for everyone, especially IM'ers, could do most of them a world of good though!)

The people you'll meet in nightclubs are generally not that great.

After work, there is always time to enjoy yourself and meet people. I just go to interesting places like clubs, cinemas.
