How do you manage the unfollow process?

Hi folks!

How do I unfollow people faster? Given the safe speed of unfollowing, I think the max I can do each day is around ~300-400 unfollows per day. My accounts are pretty good in standing. Let's say if I try to gain followers, I followed ~6500 in total for a week and I got some follow backs. Now, I've to unfollow those whom I've followed and repeat the follow process again.

The problem here is that an unfollow speed of ~300-400 usually take more than 2 weeks to unfollow ~6,500 users. It seems to be a bottle neck for growth. I have seen in some of the forum postings where people do the follow part for the weekdays and during the weekends they unfollow everyone they followed. Some of those forums postings were old, a year or 6months older I guess. When I am only able to follow for 15 days in a month, it means that I am growing pretty slow.

Is there something that Blackhatworld would recommend me? Shall I also ignore the safe unfollow limit for a while?

Personally I unfollow around 400 to 850 people a day and I like to keep it as random as I can.

If your account is aged, you can unfollowing a lot more then 400.

My account is aged ~3 years, Phone verified. How do you keep unfollowing as random? I use instagress, it provides no such option. Do you perform unfollowing manually?

I think there is no faster way to unfollow.
Someone here on bhw said he simply blocks all those people that don't follow back as there is no limit then, but I don't know it that's still a thing.

I'm using Massplanner and you can set it to unfollow a number between 400-900 for example.
I've only used Instagress trial and it was pretty slow imo. Boostgram does better but that's $100 a month so that's not an option.
I'd get Massplanner IG edition or Followliker.

Or you could do the unfollowing manually by using bluestacks and apps that record your actions.

Wow! I had never heard of blocking users to unfollow them before. I will check this out for possibility. So, what unfollow rate do you suggest for an aged(good standing), PVA account? 400, 500, 600, 700, etc?

Massplanner was something already on my mind from a very long time, working with Instagress for months had me filled with a product inertia. I will try MP now.

I don't know to be honest. I grow my bigger accounts by hand and the smaller ones run on instagress.
I would always play it safe though - losing an account hurts...

That's a gem of an advice! Thank you for that. I see all those posts on IG where people unfollow everyone they have followed during a week in just 2 days. It often tempts me to play outside the safe limit, but yeah losing this particular account will hurt me a lot.

Slow and steady wins the race, but always nice to have multiple accounts so you don't lose everything by having just one.

in unfollow up to 700 a day with FL.
