Everyone usually talks about how a big part of profitting in crypto is timing, but there are very few talks about the best time to sell.

I've been looking at the price increase for BGB, and even BWB , which rose about 44%, although I don't hold BWB, I hold BGB and it's currently top 2 on CMC.

I plan to hold long term but I also do not want to miss out on this run, is there a method for taking gradual profit in crypto?20241226-181858.jpeg

Maybe try selling your crypto in small bits over time as price goes up? This way you lock in some profits along the way.

Put it on a hardware wallet and forget about it! The more trading you do, the higher a chance you have of getting rugged with some memecoin

Simply sell during the narrative season of each coin. For example, when RWA narrative pump, you sell ONDO

Taking gradual profits is a smart strategy. One approach is to use a tiered selling method, where you sell a portion of your holdings at specific price targets. For example, you could sell 25% of your BGB holdings at a 20% gain, another 25% at a 40% gain, and so on. This way, you're locking in profits while still holding onto some potential for further growth. In all of this Bitget is really cooking something huge with BGB.

Give us the list and serial. i mean how to know which one pump or dump ?
Nobody knows that. Maybe some dirty rich whales may know, but it's not something publicly available xD
So, we don't know which narrative will pump first.
What we can do then? Diversify our portfolio and buy coins from different relevant narratives (AI, RWA, DEFI, DEPIN, LAYER 1, LAYER 2, Gaming, etc) and wait for the hard pump of each one...

Taking gradual profits in crypto is smart, especially during volatile markets. One method is setting up a sell strategy using percentages, like selling 10-20% of your holdings at specific price targets or after a certain percentage increase. You could also implement a trailing stop-loss to lock in gains if the price drops suddenly. Holding long-term is fine, but securing partial profits during a run ensures you benefit now while still riding potential future growth.
