How do you make money?

As far as money goes, there is adsense, Chita, paypal donations, Paid links from other webmasters, your own products, affiliate products.
As far as telling what the subjects are...people will be reluctant to say as it is pretty easy to just copy someone else's website and it also breeds competition. i.e I tell you that I've been making a killing on my website of "green worms" before long there will be 100+ blackhat websites all about "green worms".
Right now I'm experimenting between high traffic keywords and keywords that no one thinks about or the ones that are really really a niche market. I still am not sure which one is better, though I will let you know as soon as I find out

Well you can earn money from Google Adsense, Affiliate products and programms. Also you can earn money from showing other website ads.
I also know many people who has no website or blogs but still earn money from different types of jobs like moderation,designing etc.

YOu would do that? That's nice of you. As you say, there is a lot of copying and piracy in the net so your idea now might be another's profit tomorrow. On the other hand, it goes to show that you are confident enough of your talent and creativity not to worry about competition.
There are several ways to earn money from your site. The important part is to understand thoroughly about the program through which you want to earn money. I am presently working on Google Adsense. It is easy to set up and you get to know about your efforts from your account details on a regular basis.

I just realized something! This entire blog is filled with ideas on how to help your sites make more money and receive more traffic, but I don't have a single post that says, HEY! 2) Make a List of 300 Items in That Niche. For Instance if You Pick Music Artists Make A List of The Top 300 Most Popular Music Artists.
3) Download At Least 20 public use(noncopyrighted) pictures of each item in your list.
4) Download Screensaver Factory 4 Pro
5) Create all the screensavers and put them up on a simple website. Give each screensaver its own page and download link. It also never hurts to SEO the site so it'll do well in the search engines and make you even more money later on. Adsense also doesn't hurt for a lil' bit of extra cash.
6) Signup with Pay Per Install Affiliate Zangocash
7) Talk to account manager and ask him to bundle Zango software with screensavers. Send him all the installers along with a textfile containing all the short descriptions and a sample picture. They are usually happy to do this for you. If they aren't get a new account manager.
8) Get A Copy of Promosoft Software Submitter
Follow the instructions on Promosoft to create the PAD files(product description files used for software sites) and submit each screensaver to hundreds of software and screensaver directories.
There you go. You will get paid $0.45 for every person who installs your screensaver. Once the screensavers are submitted you will have no problem getting tons of people downloading them everyday. If you get about 250 downloads per day(easy with 300 screensavers) you will easily make about a $100/day!

I make money by using AdSense. Visitors come to my site, then a few of them click on the ads. I get paid. It's simple really.

hmm rejected from Chitika? That should be fairly easy to get in compared to adsense and yahoo. It might be the niche topic you have...you may want to build another website in a totally different nich topic and then resubmit.
