How do you make money with Google Adwords,does it really work?

Hi All;

I have seen tons of ads about making money at home through google adwords. They say it is as simple as following a cookbook. Is that true? Has anyone had experiences out there that they can explain how it is so "easy" to make money,with that system? Any other bright ideas,that will not cost me money upfront ?

.Nope, you can't make any money from adwords[/SARCASM]

The more humble response that came to mind is:
AdWords is a PPC advertising method google uses. You as the advertiser would set up a budget with google, preferrebly using a coupon. Then google advertises your ads for you in search results, websites, etc.. (You will have to do your own homework for this)

AdSense is what I think you're referring too. This is where you build a website and allow google to advertise on your website with ads from people who pay for AdWords. This method allows you to get paid via PPC. Pay Per Click. Meaning, the more people that click on the ads displayed on your site, the more money you make.
