How do you make money with Forex Trading

Let me guess, you saw the article on the guy that spent $300,000+ at a club on booze at the age of 23 because he's a FOREX trader right?

Well, some good news and bad news:

Let's start with the good:
It's definitely possible to make a ton of money with trading forex, you can exponentially grow your money quite well if you know what you're doing. You'll need to be up to date on global economies, politics, news, etc..

Now the lengthy bad news:
The problem is that there is so much information you must analyze, that it's mostly about luck and who you know. Most of the people making outrageous amounts of money are doing it because they have vast network of knowledge and resources. They know bankers, VPs, government officials, employees in key areas of government etc. All people that they have paid to give them important information about the positions they are trading. Think of it as insider information (like in the stock market) but for forex.
Sure, you can still compete with them, but is it really worth the effort? They will likely always be a step ahead and will be making the big bucks, while you trail behind as the rest of the market adjusts towards public knowledge.

Think of it like this, what they have up their sleeve is Black hat trading, and you're trying to compete with purely white hat techniques. Good luck!

Forex.....I turned $100 into $2500 in 3 months.

Then weird things started happening. My stops were getting hit, then the market would take off, and I'd miss the trend.

I investigated, and it turns out the market price never hit my stop price. The brokers were gunning my stops. ---guess what, it's totally legal what them brokers are doing.

There is no central exchange, so quotes can vary slightly, and banks are free to jack the quotes to set off stops.

To be specific it was FXCM that has a shady trading desk.

I still walked away with $1000.

At first I thought I was being a sore loser. But I've been trading for over 10 years, and something didn't seem right.

Then the new law banned 200:1 leverage and broker firms had to disclose publicly how much of their clients lose money. It turns out FXCM was at the top of the list of forex brokers that had the most "losing" clients.

Oanda was the broker that had clients that actually made money.

Becareful with Forex it's a racket that makes Internet Marketers look like saints. Forex is a shady biz.

Yep info is everything. Insider Trading is illegal in the USA and being that Forex is mostly international, those rules don't apply overseas.

Thus, insider trading is NOT illegal in the realm of Forex. Very hard to enforce laws about insider trading especially if it's not in US jurisdiction.

Take all information above and also due your due diligence on the broker you choose. Even with sound money management and a consistent methodology, a bad broker can break you.

Good luck.

you must be very careful with forex trading if you do not want to lose your money , ist very lucrative

No matter how smart you are.. the market is smarter. If you have no experience trading stocks, then forex is not for you. stay away.

...buy pennies to melt down into copper ore, then do some pricing at local recycling centers to sell it off as scrap.

pennies in the us haven't been made of copper for a very long time. take a needle and scratch the surface of a penny and you will see the zinc underneath

the only way forex is risky is if you trade high l;everage. I've seen people traidng 100:1 leverage..which is shocking!

Try this

$20k acount trade 0.1 or $10K per position. Losses gains wil lbe about $100. It adds up. but low stress. (losses as well)
